Renting out a property can be rewarding in many ways, not least financially. However, being a Landlord is fraught with pitfalls at every turn. The list of legal requirements seems to grow each year, from Gas Safety inspections and Energy Performance Certificates to Deposit Protection and maintenance repairs, the responsibilities appear endless. At myspace, we aim to take all those worries away from you and provide you with the peace of mind that all legal requirements, as well as day to day issues are being dealt with.

Our dedicated Property Management Department will arrange for the Tenant’s Deposit to be lodged with one of the Government Approved Schemes, liaise with tenants and contractors regarding any maintenance issues that may arise, and, of course, make sure all legal requirements are adhered to throughout the tenancy, such as Gas Safety and Electrical Equipment inspections.

We will regularly visit your property and let you know if tenants are taking adequate care of the premises, and will report back to you if they are not. Throughout the tenancy our accounts department will collect the rent on your behalf, chasing any late payments where necessary. And at the end of the tenancy we will arrange for a check out inventory to be carried out and compared with the Inventory and Condition report produced at the beginning.
